Headhunter Outdoors Report

Hi folks Capt. David here with this weeks outdoors report. The fish are biting folks so go fishing. The piers are hot,the surf is hot, Offshore is hot,and the sound is hot! If you haven’t figured it out by now Here’s the scoop. THE FISHING IS HOT!
Offshore the kings are out a few miles but thats not to say you can’t catch one in closer. From what I’m hearing the Gulfstream is wide open with Mahi,Wahoo,Sailfish and who knows what else. Just remember to be carefulif you head out that far. Tell someone when to expect your return to port.
The Spots are running in spurts both in the sound and waterway but they are biting. Bloodworms,shrimp,or red wigglers will catch a mess of the tasty morsels. The Redfish are biting everywhere and are hitting about any live bait you throw at them. Some really nice Flounder are being caught now as well. Finger mullet and Pogeys are a sure bet if a big flatfish is laying close by. The Trout are biting but it’s still a late evening or early morning thing. Folks just go fishing!
On the hunting side,where’s the pictures folks,send them in and we will make you famous for a little while. Deer season is in and muzzleloader season starts Saturday. Then regular gun season comes in the next week. Well I’ve got to go folks,I’m going to climb a tree and see what I can see. Till next week be safe and take a kid with you.
