Charlie’s Charters Fishing Report

The fishing is really starting to take off.  We’ve had nice catches of over slot Red Fish, big Blues, huge Sharks and starting to see some really nice Speckled Trout.  The Flounder bite is still going strong with some of these fish ranging from 2.5 to 9.5 lbs this past week.  Now that we have some nice Finger Mullet around we should start seeing some good numbers and sizes of these fish.  Right off shore about 2 miles we have been catching Spanish Mackerel in the 3 and 4 pound range, they have been a blast to sight cast to.  Fall fishing is right around the corner and the fishing will only get better.

Carolina Beach fishing is finely starting to turn on with live bait everywhere.  Despite the boat traffic on Memorial Day Weekend I was able to take out some great customers and put them on some nice Speckled Trout and Flounder.  I’ll let the pictures below say the rest.
