On the surf catching quite a few small flounder, some nice Virginia mullet, and quite a few black drum.
On the piers small bluefish, croaker, small flounder, black drum, & shark.
Inshore red drum, black drum, Virginia mullet, some speckled trout, small cod, croaker, some eels, sharks, & small bluefish. A few Spanish mackerel are starting to show up.
Fishing tip of the week: Menhaden in the 4 to 5 inch range have moved into the dredge hole & river area very thick, so live bite is available. Live bait is always my first choice of baits. Keep fishing & stay safe.

n the piers the fishing is picking up which is a good sign for all around fishing. We are starting to catch small bluefish, Virginia mullet, small croaker, a few black drum, & a couple of small flounder.Inshore river & bays catching red drum, black drum, speckled trout, small croaker, small black bass, small bluefish, & sharks.
In the surf Virginia mullet, small bluefish, black drum, & small croaker.
Fishing tip of the week: Black drum are starting to show up. The way I catch black drum is on double hook rigs fishing up against structure or either drop-offs at the edge of oyster rocks. I’ve been using shrimp for bait. It’s time to get all your fishing gear in order. The water temperature is warming up & it looks like it’s going to be a good season. Keep fishing & stay safe.
