Affordable Charters Fishing Report

On the piers they are reporting catches of small flounder, Virginia mullet, croaker, & small bluefish.

In the surf black drum, small red drum, bluefish, croaker, Virginia mullet, & some small flounder.

Inshore speckled trout, small flounder, red & black drum, small croaker, good catches of Virginia mullet, & shark.

Offshore on the bottom there are reports of snapper, black bass, grouper, & grunts.

In the surf reports of blue, some flounder, virginia mullet, small puppy drum, and black drum.

On the piers croakers, blues, a few flounder, and virginia mullet.

Inshore we are catching red & black drum, speckled & gray trout, small flounder, black bass, croaker, & virginia mullet.

No report for offshore.

This weeks fishing tip is about surf fishing. This past weekend has been very windy, which causes the ocean to get very rough. These conditions will create new slews in the surf. Slews are like under water ditches. These slews are where you should fish. Low tide is the best time to see these slews. Surf fishing is a little more technical than most people think, so pick your spot and it will make a difference in your catch. Keep fishing and stay safe.
